Where are the bad guys in video games?

When we play any title where the objective is to save the world, winning a war, stop an invasion or simply killing someone does not usually welcome the "good guys" in charge of doing the work are Americans. But have you ever wondered where are the other guys?

As we see in the image above most of the bad guys come from developing countries or commonly are called "Third World" such as: Cuba, Colombia, Indonesia, Somalia, Chad and among them our beloved Mexico. But the most surprising thing is that most of these games the "bad guys" are mostly Asian in China and Korea, while Europe only the Russians and Germans.

These data are based on the shooters played over the last 10 years and I think the "bad guys" will remain underdeveloped countries and the saviors of the world will never stop being Americans.

"Those games they call" Play Station "," poison. There are games that teach you to kill. Once made one with my face, look to kill Chavez, Chavez on Sunday launched his radio show and Alo Presidente television.

Chavez said that these games, in which "bombard cities, drop bombs," are sold by "capitalism" to spread "violence" and "then sell guns."

Video games make young people more sociable

Video games do not turn young people withdrawn and lonely, but on the contrary, according to research.

Diario Ti: New research conducted among users of video games generally disqualifies the traditional view, concluding that there are very few young people who play alone, as most meets with friends to play. Therefore, video games make teens more sociable, and not otherwise.

The Pew Internet & American Life Project has conducted a survey of 1,100 American teens. 99% of boys and 94% of girls aged between 12 and 17 say that they play one or another form of computer games. The most popular games are Guitar Hero, Halo 3, Madden NFL, Solitaire, Dance Revolution and others.

Three out of 4 teens play with friends, and Pew Internet said that those who spend the day playing while their acquaintances to speak by phone, e-mail and in person with friends grouting.

As if this were not enough to reassure concerned parents, the research also shows that 52% of teens use games that involve ethical or moral issues, while 43% used games where they assume an attitude towards the scheme government of a community or a city.

Among others, the above refers to educational games like Food Force and Darfur is dying, as well as strategy games like Civilization.

In fact, adolescents consulted on such issues in virtual communities are more likely to make collections and otherwise participate in social and political work in the real world.

This raises the concern of whether they are games related to the company that makes young people have more social consciousness or if the opposite happens, that they are young and committed to the community that have a tendency to prefer such games.

However, as might sucolocarse, not all games are about social issues and the report further indicates that a third of young people surveyed admit to having played games marked as "adults only". The games in this category are, Generally, high violent games. Pew Internet suggests parents be aware of the games using their children, and suggest those positive and social participation.

Vietnam restricts access to online games

The social for several events allegedly related to online games have led to these measures [/ size

The Vietnamese authorities have tightened regulations on online games in China, after several violent incidents in the area and blamed on behaviors related to gaming. Thus, the Ministry of Information and Communications has prohibited the granting of new licenses for online games until further notice, the advertising of multiplayer games and limited the hours during which you can access the Internet at Internet cafes.

These measures have resulted after several media would reflect crimes allegedly committed by conflicts arising in online games, as the case of a 15-year-old sentenced to 10 years in prison for attacking and robbing $ 10 from a child of 4 years, allegedly to buy accessories for an MMO.
