monkeys monkeys monkeys also play the scientists say chimps play with dolls
Researchers at Harvard University supports this premise. Females play with pieces of branches as if they were babies and the males as weapons
Scientists at Harvard University said they had found the first evidence that young chimpanzees play. As indicated, this depends on sex, while females often use the branches as if they were babies, males use it as a weapon or tool.
This study, prepared by the observation of 68 chimpanzees in the Kibale National Park (Uganda), was published in the journal Current Biology.
The head of the investigation, the primatologist Richard Wragham said "watch how the branches loaded recalled how the girls play with girls play with dolls as if they were her babies," the paper quoted El Universal.
