Scratch, Programming for children.
Scratch is a powerful and creative tool designed to facilitate the learning of programming through a simple graphical interface and dynamic.
Despite being aimed at children (6 to 16 years) raises an interesting first approach to programming, enabling the incorporation of concepts such as iteration, conditionals, variables, data types, events and procedures.
Powered by The Lifelong Kindergarten group "in the MIT Media Lab, by a team led by Mitchel Resnick, this project is built on the programming language Squeak, inspired by previous work on Logo.
