The most searched by Google in 2010

Google released its list ZeitGeist 2010, which reveals the most searched terms all year. From chatroulette Justin Bieber, the 2010 World Cup to the earthquake in Haiti and Chile, Google unveiled the most searched terms by country, which are shown after the jump.

Globally, the list of terms that "rose faster" during the year is as follows:

8. twitter
9. Gamezer
10. facebook

The lists below refer to the "emerging search", terms which have risen suddenly search volume during the year. Each country also has separate lists according to news and events. You can click on the name of the country to see them.

For example, Chile has special lists for the earthquake and the rescue of 33 miners, events that shaped the agenda for much of the year and do not necessarily appear reflected in the general searches.
