The refueling stop for two ships, one British and one Norwegian flag, held in Ensenada, sparked fury in the ultra-left organization. Not only that, but warmed the mayor of the town, Mario Secco.
The front of the main building of Puerto del Plata was attacked this afternoon by a group of protesters from the group Quebracho.
The ultra-left activists threw stones, sticks and paint bombs with the Argentine colors in protest of the refueling of two vessels which are licensed to operate in the area of the Falkland Islands.
The cargo ship Normand Baltic is operated by the Norwegian company Rov & Dikker, have a flag of the Isle of Man, British rule.
Meanwhile, the tug Normand Skarven is operated by the Norwegian company Solstad Offshore ASA.
The presence of the two ships in the harbor caused the rejection of the mayor of Buenos Aires party, Mario Secco, calling it "unacceptable" situation.
"This is unacceptable, mindful that more than 200 years ago, Ensenada was invaded by the British Empire -1806 and 1807 - and the blood that left Ensenada in the Falklands," he said.
