Years ago, photographer Peter Menzel and Faith D'Aluisio published Hungry Planet, a book with an interesting photographic study on the food culture in different parts of the world. The idea was to visit 30 families from 24 countries and portraying them with food bought for a week, detailing the costs.

Beyond how sad it is to see some families survive on a weekly budget of just a few dollars, it is curious that discolocar more money, does not mean eating better, for example in developing countries can do a diet in vegetables, fruits and vegetables, while EE. UU. or Europe, most of what they consume are manufactured goods ... to think.
