MyLife, a virtual life simulator for girls

The toy company has submitted MyLife Giochi Preziosi, his first "console" laptop aimed at girls aged 6 to 10 years. The console is in quotes because, although it really looks like a Game Boy can be used only a game. Specifically it is a virtual life simulator in Second Life-style of these that we are so enthusiastic about this (read with irony).

Under the motto "another life in your hands" (in Castilian, "another life in your hands"), the girls can have fun in their lives when they are bored parallel the real world. To do so create your avatar, which may well look like them or completely different. You can choose the hairstyle, eye color or height. As for the personal look, there are five different styles: fashion, urban, romantic, athlete or rock. All of them pose so natural that we see in the image:

In addition to his physical appearance, you can get new clothes for the character through the "Magic Card" collectibles, which are purchased separately at regular stores.

Girls become crazy buying new accessories for your virtual doll, while the pockets of parents will take to shake around a kiosk.

Once they have finished placing your beautiful virtual alter ego, will begin the "adventure" (to call it somehow). Can go shopping at the mall, stay home or spend the day in the park. They will also have class homework or find a job after school to pay their own whims.

That is, the game is to escape from the daily grind of real life to go into another routine virtual. Exciting.

The device has an infrared port to exchange text messages, share the virtual world and share the gifts that have touched on Magic Cards. In principle it makes little sense to send a message to a friend if, due to the use of infrared, the two consoles have to be stuck (and thus, girls have to be together). But you may use it anyway.

Also includes a calendar function and agenda, we'll see if any of the girls ever use it. All this for a price of 70 euros which the kids sure did not seem so bad. Instead the parents will in all likelihood a very different view.
